Legal terms

Terms and Conditions.

These Terms govern use of TrickIT, including learner accounts, parent accounts, creator uploads, platform features, advertising and dispute resolution.

1. Who We Are

TrickIT is a product of PRIYA MUNESH PRIVATE LIMITED, a company incorporated under the laws of India. TrickIT is a verified short-form and mid-form educational video learning application designed for learners of all ages. Every video on TrickIT is reviewed by both an automated system and a human reviewer before it reaches the feed.

2. Definitions

  • “TrickIT”, “we”, “us”, or “our” refers to TrickIT and its platform.
  • “User” means any person who creates an account on TrickIT, whether as a learner or a creator.
  • “Adult User” means a user who is 18 years of age or older.
  • “Child” means any individual under the age of 18.
  • “Parent Account” means an account registered by a parent or legal guardian through which a child accesses TrickIT.
  • “Creator” means any user who uploads video content to TrickIT.
  • “Content” means any video, text, comment, post, or other material uploaded, submitted, or shared on TrickIT.
  • “Verified Content” means content that has passed TrickIT’s AI screening and human review process.
  • “Platform” means the TrickIT application available on mobile and web.

3. Eligibility and Account Registration

Any person 18 years of age or older may create an account on TrickIT directly using their own credentials. There is no prerequisite qualification or verification required at the point of account creation.

Children under 18 cannot create their own TrickIT accounts. A parent or legal guardian must register using their own credentials and create the account. The child then accesses TrickIT through that parent account.

When registering a child under 18, the parent or guardian must use their own identity credentials, accept these Terms on behalf of the child and themselves, and provide the child’s age accurately. The parent remains the account holder and may review watched content, manage settings and delete the account through the Parent Dashboard.

Users are responsible for keeping account credentials secure and for providing accurate, current and complete information.

4. Content on TrickIT

TrickIT is exclusively a learning platform. Every piece of content must fall into one of eight categories: Educational Content, Tricks, Professional Development, Arts, Games, Current Affairs, General Knowledge, or Weather. Content that is purely entertainment without an educational component does not qualify.

Every video uploaded to TrickIT goes through automated AI screening and human review before it appears on any feed. Only after both stages are passed does a video go live. There are no exemptions.

Creators represent that their content is original or properly authorised, falls within the permitted categories, is accurate to the best of their knowledge, does not infringe third-party rights, and does not contain prohibited content.

TrickIT may remove content that violates these Terms, the Content Policy, or applicable law. Creators may appeal removal decisions by contacting legal@trickit.app within 14 days of removal notification.

5. Prohibited Conduct

  • Uploading sexually explicit, obscene, or pornographic content.
  • Promoting, glorifying, or inciting violence, terrorism, or self-harm.
  • Defamatory, harassing, or targeted harmful content.
  • Content that involves or exploits children in any harmful, sexual, or abusive manner.
  • Impersonation, scams, phishing, fraud, or attempts to circumvent suspension.
  • Misinformation presented as fact, especially in health, medical, financial, or legal topics.
  • Intellectual property violations.
  • Reverse-engineering, scraping, extracting data, or interfering with platform systems.

6. Platform Features and Acceptable Use

Users may like, comment, share and follow creators. Comments must be respectful and relevant. Abusive, harassing, or personal-attack comments may be removed and repeated violations may result in suspension.

Creators may publish text and image posts to their profiles. Posts are not pre-reviewed but are subject to moderation and removal if they violate these Terms.

Direct messages are subject to safety monitoring for patterns associated with harmful content, child grooming, abuse, or illegal material. Flagged or reported messages may be reviewed by the safety team for safety purposes only.

7. Advertising

TrickIT does not display advertising of any kind to users under 18. This is an architectural feature of the platform.

Adult users may see contextual advertising matched to the learning category being watched. TrickIT does not build behavioural profiles of adult users for ad targeting.

Betting, gambling, alcohol, tobacco, harmful financial products, political campaigns, misleading content and exploitative advertising are not permitted.

Creators whose content is watched by adult users earn 55% of net advertising revenue generated against their videos. TrickIT retains 45%. Revenue statements and payment timelines are detailed in the Creator Revenue Policy.

8. Intellectual Property

The TrickIT name, logo, interface design, verification framework and platform technology are the intellectual property of TrickIT and PRIYA MUNESH PRIVATE LIMITED. They may not be used without prior written permission.

Creators retain ownership of uploaded content. By uploading, creators grant TrickIT a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display and distribute the content on the platform and in connection with platform promotion.

Learners may watch verified content for personal learning. They may not screen-record, download, extract or redistribute creator content without the creator’s written permission.

9. Privacy

How TrickIT collects, uses and protects personal data is set out in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

10. Disclaimers

TrickIT is a learning platform. Content is created by independent creators and, while reviewed, TrickIT does not guarantee that all content is free of error, complete, or fit for a specific purpose.

TrickIT is not a substitute for formal academic education, professional medical advice, legal advice, or financial advice.

11. Limitation of Liability

TrickIT is not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses except where such limitation is not permitted by law.

12. Account Suspension and Termination

TrickIT may suspend or terminate accounts for breach of Terms, repeated violations, prohibited conduct, or legal requirements. Users may delete their accounts through account settings. After termination, the right to use the platform ceases immediately.
