This Privacy Policy explains how TrickIT, a product of PRIYA MUNESH PRIVATE LIMITED, collects, uses, protects and shares information when users access the TrickIT website, mobile app and related services.
TrickIT is a learning platform for all ages. Children under 18 access the platform through parent-registered accounts, and their information receives stricter protection.
2. Information We Collect
- Account information such as name, email address, mobile number, login credentials, age or age-range, language preference and profile details.
- Parent account and child access information needed to provide parent-controlled access for under-18 learners.
- Creator content, uploaded videos, posts, captions, category selections, thumbnails, review submissions and appeal information.
- Engagement information such as likes, comments, shares, follows, views and saved preferences.
- Safety and moderation information, including reports, review notes, policy decisions and direct message safety signals.
- Device, log and technical information such as IP address, device type, app version, browser type, crash logs and security logs.
- Support and communication information when users contact TrickIT.
3. How We Use Information
- To create, manage and secure user accounts.
- To operate the verified content review pipeline.
- To provide learning feeds, category discovery and creator tools.
- To enforce safety, moderation, child protection and anti-abuse rules.

- To provide contextual advertising only to adult users.

4. Children and Parent Accounts
Users under 18 access TrickIT through a parent-registered account. Parents are responsible for creating and controlling the account, providing accurate child age information, and managing child access.
TrickIT does not serve advertising to under-18 users and does not build behavioural advertising profiles from their usage.
Parents may review child-related account settings and request deletion through the Parent Dashboard or support channels once available.
5. Messaging Safety
Direct messages may be scanned by automated systems for patterns associated with harmful content, child grooming, abuse or illegal material. When a message is flagged or reported, TrickIT’s safety team may review it.
Message monitoring is conducted for safety purposes only. Data accessed during safety review is not used for advertising, profiling or commercial targeting.
6. Advertising and Personalisation
Adult users may see contextual advertising based on the learning category being watched, not behavioural tracking across the platform.
Under-18 users never receive advertising on TrickIT.
TrickIT does not use children’s data for behavioural profiling or ad targeting.
7. When We Share Information
- With service providers who help operate hosting, security, moderation, analytics, notifications, payments and support.
- With reviewers or safety teams where necessary for content review, moderation, appeals and user safety.
- With authorities, regulators or law enforcement where required by law or where needed to protect users, children, platform integrity or legal rights.
- With a successor entity if there is a merger, acquisition or restructuring, subject to appropriate safeguards.
- With consent or at the direction of the user or parent account holder.
8. Data Retention
TrickIT keeps information only for as long as needed to provide services, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce policies, protect users, and maintain security records.
Deleted account data is handled according to applicable law and operational retention needs such as fraud prevention, legal compliance and safety records.
9. Security
TrickIT uses administrative, technical and organisational safeguards to protect information. No system can be guaranteed completely secure, but TrickIT works to reduce risk through security controls, access restrictions, monitoring and review.
10. User Rights
Depending on applicable law, users may request access, correction, deletion, portability, withdrawal of consent, restriction of processing, or grievance review. Parents may exercise applicable rights for child access under their account.
11. International Use
TrickIT is India-first with planned expansion to other regions. Where data is transferred or processed outside a user’s country, TrickIT will apply appropriate safeguards required by applicable law.
