Child safety

Child Safety Policy.

TrickIT’s child-safety commitments for under-18 learners, parents and guardians.

1. Commitment

TrickIT is designed for learners of all ages, with higher protection for users under 18. Child safety is a product, policy and operational requirement, not an optional setting.

2. Parent-Registered Access

Children under 18 cannot create their own TrickIT accounts. A parent or legal guardian must create and control the account using their own credentials.

The parent remains the account holder and may manage account settings, review child access controls and request deletion.

3. No Advertising to Under-18 Users

TrickIT does not serve advertising of any kind to under-18 users. This cannot be overridden by settings or business rules.

4. No Behavioural Profiling of Minors

TrickIT does not build behavioural advertising profiles from under-18 usage. Feed experience for child access must avoid behavioural advertising logic and use safer learning preferences and parent-controlled settings.

5. Content Protections

All videos go through AI screening and human review before publication. Reviewers check age-appropriateness, educational value and content policy compliance.

User reports, automated monitoring and spot-checks continue after publication. Any video may be removed after going live if new risks are identified.

6. Messaging and Interaction Safety

Direct messages are subject to automated safety scanning for harmful patterns, grooming, abuse and illegal material. Flagged or reported messages may be reviewed by the safety team.

Comments and posts that are abusive, harassing, exploitative or unsafe may be removed. Accounts may be restricted or suspended.

7. Parent Controls

  • Parent account creation and control for under-18 access.
  • Accurate child age declaration requirement.
  • Parent Dashboard review and deletion controls once available.
  • No ad delivery to child access.
  • No behavioural advertising profiles for minors.

8. Reporting

Users, parents and guardians should report unsafe content, suspicious behaviour, harassment or child safety concerns immediately through in-app reporting or by contacting grievance@trickit.app.

9. Zero Tolerance

Content or behaviour involving child sexual abuse, exploitation or grooming is strictly prohibited and may be reported to law enforcement or relevant authorities.
