Advertising Policy.

How TrickIT handles contextual advertising while protecting learners and maintaining a learning-first platform.

1. Overview

TrickIT’s launch monetisation model is freemium access supported by quality contextual advertising for adult users only.

2. No Ads for Under-18 Users

TrickIT does not display advertising to users under 18. This is an architectural commitment and cannot be overridden.

3. Contextual Ads for Adults

Adult users may see ads matched to the learning category being watched. For example, a coding tutorial may carry a software-related advertisement.

TrickIT does not build behavioural profiles of adult users for ad targeting.

4. Excluded Ad Categories

  • Betting and gambling.
  • Alcohol and tobacco.
  • Harmful financial products, including predatory lending.
  • Political campaigns.
  • Misleading, false, exploitative or unsafe content.
  • Products or services that conflict with TrickIT’s learning-first and child-safety principles.

5. Creator Revenue Share

Creators receive 55% of net ad revenue generated against their eligible content watched by adult users. TrickIT retains 45%.

Revenue eligibility, thresholds, statements and payment timelines are subject to the Creator Revenue Policy and final launch rules.

6. Ad Review

Advertising should be reviewed for safety, relevance and category fit. TrickIT may reject or remove advertisements that create risk for learners, parents, creators or platform integrity.

7. Transparency

Advertisements should be distinguishable from learning content and must not be disguised as creator education videos.
