Content safety

Content Policy.

What creators may upload, how videos are reviewed, and what content is rejected or removed.

1. Purpose

TrickIT exists for learning. This Content Policy defines what may be uploaded, how videos are verified, and what content will be rejected or removed.

2. Permitted Learning Categories

Every uploaded video must fit one of TrickIT’s eight learning categories. Content outside these categories is rejected.

  1. Educational Content
  2. Tricks
  3. Professional Development
  4. Arts
  5. Games
  6. Current Affairs
  7. General Knowledge
  8. Weather

3. Educational Requirement

Content must teach, explain, demonstrate, analyse or help the learner understand something. Pure entertainment, lifestyle performance without instruction, viral trend copying, gossip, or gameplay without structured teaching does not qualify.

4. Verification Pipeline

  1. Upload: creator submits a video; it is not visible to users.
  2. AI Screening: automated review checks policy violations, harmful content, CSAM signals, age-inappropriate material, misleading claims, copyright signals and commercial content disguised as learning.
  3. Human Review: a trained reviewer watches the video and checks factual accuracy, educational value, category fit and age-appropriateness.
  4. Outcome: approve, reject, return for edits, or escalate for additional review.
  5. Post-live monitoring: user reports, automated monitoring and spot-checks may lead to later removal.

5. Prohibited Content

  • Sexually explicit, obscene or pornographic content.
  • Violence, terrorism, self-harm promotion or illegal activity.
  • Child exploitation, grooming, abuse or unsafe child-related material.
  • Harassment, defamation, hate, targeted abuse or bullying.
  • Scams, phishing, fraud or deceptive commercial promotion.
  • Misinformation presented as fact, especially in medical, health, finance, legal or current affairs topics.
  • Copyright infringement or unauthorised use of third-party material.
  • Content that is mainly advertising, affiliate promotion or sales disguised as learning.
  • Content that instructs harmful, illegal or unsafe behaviour.

6. Sensitive Subject Rules

Medical, health, legal and financial content must be clearly educational. It must not present itself as personalised professional advice or replace qualified professionals.

Current Affairs content must be dated and may require updates when events materially change.

Weather content must explain weather or climate concepts. Raw forecast reading without educational framing does not qualify.

7. Creator Responsibilities

Creators are responsible for accuracy, ownership rights, category fit, age-appropriateness and compliance with this Policy.

Creators should provide corrections or updates when they become aware that uploaded information is outdated, incomplete or materially inaccurate.

8. Enforcement

TrickIT may approve, reject, return for edits, restrict visibility, remove, demonetise, suspend creator tools or terminate accounts depending on severity and repeat behaviour.

9. Appeals

Creators may appeal moderation decisions by contacting legal@trickit.app or the in-app appeal workflow once available. Appeals should include the video title, decision received, and reason for reconsideration.
